Cholesterol in Vegetables

Vegetables are plant products which fall under low cholesterol foods. These include plants such as spinach, carrots, cucumber, cauliflower, beetroot, and pepper amongst others. It is important to keep in mind that vegetables are cholesterol free making them safe to be consumed by humans. Most vegetables are not taken when raw thus require to be cooked. Carrots and pepper can be taken uncooked. Due to germ infection, it is very important to wash these products before consumption. Unclean food can cause diseases such as typhoid and cholera. It would be of less importance to avoid one danger, cholesterol, and face the other, germs infection. This calls for us to take caution in our meals from the variety to the cleanliness. Different vegetables have different nutrient content. This gives room for one to eat different vegetables at once. Some of them share the same nutrients but at different levels. With vegetables as our source of nutrients, we can be safe from cholesterol.
